# Best Grill Warming Racks (2026) Source: https://grillsmokecraft.com/best/warming-racks Updated: 2026-09-15 Publisher: Grill Smoke Craft. Our score is an editorial rating out of 10 (fit 35%, features 25%, build 20%, value 20%), not a customer rating. Method: https://grillsmokecraft.com/how-we-research#our-score A warming rack adds a second tier above the main grate, giving you somewhere to hold finished food, toast buns, or slow-warm items away from direct heat. Fit is the first thing to check, since racks either come matched to a specific grill or need to be sized to sit securely without blocking the lid from closing. Sturdy, rust-resistant construction keeps it from sagging under a full load of food over time. The extra space is most useful when you cook in volume or in stages. You can rest cooked pieces up top to stay warm while the next batch finishes below, keep delicate items gently heated, or free up the main grate for searing. Casual cooks handling one round of food may not need one, but anyone feeding a crowd or juggling several foods at once will appreciate the breathing room. Look for a height that clears the food below yet still lets the lid seal properly. ## Picks ### 1.
