What we liked
- + Separate gas and charcoal cooking areas in one grill, so you can pick quick gas heat or charcoal flavor without owning two grills
- + 870 square inches of total cooking space and two stainless steel main burners with electronic push-button ignition
- + EasyDump ash pan makes emptying the charcoal side quicker, and the side burner adds a spot for a pot or pan
Trade-offs
- - Only two main gas burners, one fewer than the 3-burner gas grills that fill the rest of this guide
- - The 870 square inches is the total across both sides, so each fuel gets only part of that space
