What we liked
- + 362 square inches of cooking surface, the classic 22.5 inch kettle size for family cooks and two-zone fires
- + Porcelain-enameled lid and bowl, which the listing credits with heat retention and rust resistance
- + Built-in temperature gauge and adjustable air dampers for moving between hot searing and lower smoking heat
Trade-offs
- - The listing highlights do not describe the ash cleanup system or the grate material, two areas where kettles differ
- - The listing names no hinged cooking grate or enclosed ash catcher, features found on pricier 22 inch kettles
